Director of Sales - Eastern Region

Position Description

In order for Thought Equity Motion to successfully achieve its strategic goals, the right leadership must exist at the most senior levels of the Company. Therefore, it is our mission to identify and retain a Director of Sales – Eastern Region, whose charter will be to manage, develop and grow the sales/business development team across the New York and Toronto offices. This executive is currently leads a sales/business development team in a fast growing media organization.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Successful experience managing sales/business development teams in surpassing goals.
  • Proven track record of recruiting, training and ramping sales/business development team members.
  • Mature, credible, and seasoned sales executive who has proven himself/herself inside successful and relevant companies. Ideally has startup experience in a leadership capacity.
  • Prior experience in helping build and lead a world-class sales organization, as well as the ability to fine tune the existing sales team to scale accordingly as the Company continues to grow.
  • Has the tactical and operational ability to react to increasing market demand by developing a sales playbook to be repeated with other/new clients.
  • Able to conceive, develop, and articulate a coherent sales strategy and methodology, including accurate forecasting capabilities, sales plans, and customer segmentation.
  • Understands and appreciates the value of account management.
  • Able to work closely with sales team members to develop and implement regional segment strategies.
  • Must understand the unique needs of customers and be willing and able to customize deals for individual customers. Possesses the insight into potential customers needs and is proactive in pursuing those potential future clients.
  • Able to participate and play a key role on the executive management team, significantly contributing to the overall corporate strategy.
  • Possesses a strong belief, in and passion for, Thought Equity Motion’s market value and potential.
