Thought Equity Expands Operations With New York Office; Hires Motion Imagery Veteran to Head Sales Team

DENVER, Colo., May 23, 2006 – Thought Equity, a worldwide leader in motion imagery licensing and management, has expanded its geographic footprint with the opening of an office in Manhattan and the addition of industry veteran Ross Dabrow to serve as vice president of sales. Dabrow brings more than 15 years experience in the motion imagery industry and will oversee the company’s growing sales operations in addition to heading up the New York Office.

“Thought Equity’s New York office was established in part to nurture and expand our growing customer base in the creative production industry,” said Kevin Schaff, CEO of Thought Equity. “Manhattan is home to much of the world’s leading advertising agencies, production facilities and Fortune 500 corporations and a local presence underscores our commitment to ensuring those customers get more of the world-class customer service they have come to expect from Thought Equity.”

“In addition to being one of the nerve centers for film production talent, New York is the optimal geographic location from which to serve our rapidly growing base of international clients,” stated Dabrow.

Dabrow began his career at The Post Group and went on to hold leadership positions at several major post production facilities. Dabrow spent seven years at Getty Images, where he led sales efforts for the North American territory and received the company’s “Sales Team of the Year” award for two consecutive years. Dabrow will lead Thought Equity’s sales operations, building seasoned sales teams in major cities worldwide and cultivating industry partnerships to extend the company’s reach and better serve current and potential customers.

“Ross’s tremendous experience and insight into the needs of the production community will help Thought Equity get the right content and solutions into the hands of customers that need them,” added Schaff.

With the addition of exclusive film footage from organizations such as Sony Pictures Entertainment, HBO Archives and the NCAA, Thought Equity now has the world’s largest online selection of relevant film and HD motion content designed to serve world-class production professionals.
