In the 1960s, Studio 8H, the current home to Saturday Night Live, was configured for continuous news coverage of the space program, including models of rockets, space craft, and maps of the earth and moon. When the Berlin wall came down, NBC News was the only US news network with an anchor reporting live on the ground. NBC News also conducted the first Live TV Broadcast from inside the DMZ.
