Denver, CO, February 24, 2003 Thought
Equity, a leading aggregator and distributor of production-ready
print and video advertising, announced its appointment today of
Randy Kenworthy as president. Kenworthy will be responsible for
driving the company's international and domestic sales strategies,
market penetration, customer acquisition, product adoption, and
the attainment of revenue objectives.
Kenworthy has extensive industry experience leading
aggressive and successful sales operations in a variety of high-tech
industries including database marketing, data storage, Internet
performance monitoring, e-commerce, and lead optimization software.
"Thought Equity's solution is having a huge impact
on how large media, broadcast, and cable companies sell advertising.
Being able to provide clients with quality, ready-to-use advertising
options in hours, not weeks, is changing the fundamental economics
of how they do business", said Kenworthy. "And the timing is perfect.
Advertising revenues are way down so media companies are hungry
for a way to give customers the creative designs they want, while
keeping production costs to a minimum."
Kenworthy was key to the expansion and success of
companies such as Vanguard Technology, Metromail (NYSE: ML), Exodus
Communications, Tickets.com (NASDAQ: TIXX), Avail Systems Corporation,
Service Metrics, Inc. and others. He is also founder of ConX Corporation,
a developer and provider of sales management and management training
programs for Fortune-sized high-tech companies and is a nationally
speaker on success strategies. In the last two decades, Kenworthy
has founded three companies, has held several executive roles, from
VP Sales to EVP Sales and Marketing and CEO. He created and launched
three sales and management curriculums and personally trained over
5,000 sales and sales management employees worldwide for companies
such as NCR, Hewlett Packard, AT&T;, Sears, Apple Computer, and Compaq
Computer.
"Randy is a perfect addition to the Thought Equity
executive team", said Kevin Schaff, CEO. "We are looking forward
to his leadership and strategic influence as we take the company
to the next level of growth."
