Don’t Underestimate the Little Guy”Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, a full-service integrated ad agency, came to Thought Equity Motion for its Rights & Clearances expertise when producing the “Don’t Underestimate the Little Guy” commercial promoting one of Hewlett Packard’s latest smartphones, the HP Veer 4G.  To communicate that the HP Veer 4G may be small but can “pack a punch,” the commercial starred Manny Pacquiao—known as the best pound-for-pound world champion boxer in the world—holding the compact phone as it played video clips of him knocking out fellow pro boxers Antonio Margarito, Miguel Cotto, David Diaz, and Marco Antonio Barrera. In less than a month, Thought Equity Motion’s Rights & Clearances team secured clearances for all the competing fighters featured in the national spot.
