    Managing My Partner Account

    How do I set-up my Partner Account?
    Registering your Partner Account on Thought Equity Motion is easy. If you do not have an account, you can create a Thought Equity username and password by registering here. You will need to validate your account by following the instructions sent to your e-mail. Once you have a completed contract on file, send your username to commercialization@thoughtequity.com and we will grant Partner Account permissions.

    How do I retrieve my username or password?
    You can retrieve your username and password by submitting your e-mail address to the password reminder. Your username and password will be sent to your e-mail.

    How do I update my address where royalties are sent?
    You can update your Thought Equity account by updating My Account>My Profile or by clicking on your name on the top navigation bar. When you are in your profile, you can manage your addresses on the left hand side of the page. Also, you must e-mail your new mailing address to AccountReceivables@thoughtequity.com so that we can update our accounting records.

    How do I change the name of the company on my partner agreement?
    If you have changed the name of your company and you can provide documentation on the reason for the change and a new W-9 or W-B BEN, please contact commercialization@thoughtequity.com and we will work on an amendment to your contract.

    How do I submit an updated W-9 or W-8 BEN?
    Please submit any changes to tax forms (W-9s for United States based partners and W-8 BEN for partners outside of the United States) to AccountReceivables@thoughtequity.com. W-9 form and W-8 BEN form are attached here.

    When will I receive my royalty check?
    Royalty checks are sent within 30 days of the end of the calendar quarter.

    Can I receive my royalty check via wire transfer?
    We provide all partners with the standard option of being paid by check free of charge. If you wish to receive payment via wire transfer, the wire transfer fee will be withheld from the royalties provided that the royalties exceed the wire transfer fee. Arrangement of wire transfer details must be set-up through our accounting team at AccountReceivables@thoughtequity.com

    Managing My Library

    How can I view my library?
    You can access your entire Thought Equity library by using your username and password and logging into the Thought Equity Motion Platform site. Your dashboard will have a ‘My Library’ button that will bring you to your library of content.

    How can I search within my library?
    Once you are logged into your library, the grey search bar at the top will display ‘Search within my library…” and you can search within your library of content.

    How can I view my sales reports?
    You can access up-to-date paid sales by using your username and password and logging into the Thought Equity Motion Platform site. Your dashboard will have a ‘Reports/Analytics’ button that will bring you to a page asking you to ‘Select a report to view’. Select “Sales by Paid for Date” and the sub-header “Subtotal by Supplier” and enter a date range in the specified format.
