Inside Sales Manager – Platform Services

Reporting to the Senior Director of Sales, the Inside Sales Manager is a sales position for a detail oriented, well-rounded, creative and ambitious individual with aspirations of developing a career within the media and technology sales industry selling to studios, broadcasters, networks and content archive owners.

This individual is key member of sales team responsible for prospecting, qualifying, cultivating, and driving revenue from prospective and existing clients.

Thought Equity Motion (TEM) is in search of a hard working, results-oriented individual who has a friendly and outgoing personality.  The ideal candidate is patient, process-oriented, and comfortable with both technical and business concepts.  Outstanding verbal and written communication skills are required, as is a willingness to go above and beyond both for TEM as well as our customers. Flexibility around day-to-day responsibilities is also a critical trait for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for lead generation, qualification, cultivation and closing of revenue generating transactions as part of a concentrated sales team;
  • Fully understand and accurately represent TEM services from a business, operational and technical perspective to existing and potential customers.
  • Be capable of managing the relationship with the customer’s service interests through all organizations within TEM.
  • Continuously support and develop sales pipeline and progress opportunities through the stages of the sales cycle to deal close.
  • Understanding of company capabilities and service and effectively presenting and communicating solutions to the client through the lens of their business objectives.
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of TEM services and products and how they serve customer needs, including features, advantages, benefits, and key examples of usage.
  • Ensure that TEM is represented in a professional and positive manner.
  • Keep up with industry trends and best practices.

Experience and Attributes

  • Documented sales experience (2 – 3 years) selling complex, technical solutions.
  • Experience selling web-based systems architecture, service-based architecture, enterprise application architecture a plus.
  • Media background/experience a plus.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a proven track record of exceeding sales goals in a high-growth culture.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PPT and Word.
  • Advanced project management skills, including handling multiple opportunities simultaneously, setting and meeting goals and efficient time management.
  • Ability to succeed in a results-focused, high-growth culture.
  • Exceptional creativity and demonstrable history of idea development.
  • Proven track record and a must-win attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail and service oriented mentality.
  • Entrepreneurial nature, flexible and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven success in initiating and maintaining relationships.
