Human Resource Assistant

Location: Denver, CO
Status: Full Time

Reporting to the Human Resource Manager, the Human Resource Assistant will be responsible for administrative support for day-to-day operations of the human resource department.  This individual will assist with data entry, payroll processing and maintenance of personnel files.  The HR Assistant will provide effective HR support to the company, increasing process efficiencies and policy management.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare paperwork needed to create new employee profiles and to place new employees on payroll
  • Ensure that human resource files and records are maintained in accordance with legal requirements and company policies and procedures
  • Assist in the development and administration of human resource procedures and policies
  • Handle issues and inquires if HR Manager is unavailable
  • Performs miscellaneous clerical functions and special projects as assigned
  • Provides assistance in hiring process such as: posting jobs on job boards or websites and screening/distributing resumes to department heads/hiring managers

Education & Experience:

  • 1-2 years experience in a HR/support role
  • 4-year college degree in Human Resources, Business Management or related field preferred
